Exbourne Open Gardens took place on Saturday 4th July. Although an early downpour in the morning left gardeners busy with a bit of last minute work to do, by 2pm the sun was shining and over 45 people enjoyed a tour of the 11 gardens, rounded off with a cream tea in the gardens of the Manor House. Many thanks to those who opened their gardens, organised the teas and helped with the event.
The last open garden was on view at the Jazz Evening held at the Glebe House. An enthusiastic group enjoyed the music of the Al Fresco Trio and a full barbecue including locally-made hamburgers, sausages, and pork ribs. The events of the day between them raised £800
